Delhi ....... Around 6 : 00 AM
In a very beautiful mansion named Raizada Mansion, a very melodious Aarti song was being heard. The morning sun was just starting to peek, but inside, the devotional music was already bright.
Meri aankhon mein tu muskuraaye
meri dhadkan pe hai tere saaye ...
pujti hai nazar tujhko aath'o peher
kaun tere siva yaad aaye ....
zindagi ke karam tujhse
har khushi har gham tujhse ....
vaade aur kasam tujhse
har khushi har gham tujhse ....
The mandir glowed, decorated with fresh, sweet-smelling flowers made it beautiful but the most beautiful was the idol of Devi Maiya. In front of the idol of Devi Maiya, Ratna Singh Raizada, daughter-in-law of the house, performed the Aarti with deep devotion, her voice soft and clear.
After the Aarti she took the arti thaal and worshipped every corner of RM. Then she came to her elder son Arnav Singh Raizada's room.
While entering the room she called him. "Chotte here takes this ar....." She stopped in the middle of the room and scanned the empty room.
she narrowed her eyes "Again?? Today also he ran away without taking arti, let him come today, i will not leave him" said Ratna in the huff and come out of the room and go to the kitchen.
-------- After Half an Hour --------
A man, who looked about 26 or 27 years old, was coming through the main gate. He was wearing a jogging suit. Sweat was shining on his forehead. His jogging T-shirt stuck to his strong body, showing off his muscles. With each step, he walked with power and a natural charm. His hair was a bit messy. A light, attractive stubble on his jawline only made him look more handsome. There was a light scar on his left eyebrow. He was truly impressive to see. No girl could stop herself from being attracted to him. However, due to his short temper, people kept their distance because his anger was very dangerous.
This is Arnav Singh Raizada, CEO of AR Fashion Industry, whom people also call the 'King of the Fashion Industry.'
Arnav went straight to his room for a shower. Stepping into the glass enclosure, he turned the tap. Warm water immediately poured down from the overhead shower, drenching him completely. He ran his hands through his messy hair, pushing it back as the water streamed over his face, highlighting the faint scar above his left eyebrow.
The water then flowed down his strong body, perfectly outlining his well-defined six-pack abs and toned muscles. He placed his hands against the cool glass wall, closing his eyes for a moment to feel the soothing water. Then, he slowly opened his chocolate brown eyes, now gleaming intensely. Under the downpour, he was a mesmerizing vision of pure masculine beauty, the kind that would instantly draw any woman's eye and hold it captive. No girl could stop herself from being attracted to him, but does he care ? No, never.
----------- Dinning Table ----------
Meanwhile on the dinning table Arnav's Mama, Mami, Dadi and His Dad watch Ratna who is talking to her self while making her face. All know why she is doing that and they tried to control their laugh as Ratna's angry face looked like a child who didn't get ice cream.
This is the sight Anjali sees when she comes to the dining table which is not new to her. She sits beside Arvind who is looking at Ratna pressing his smile.
"Again chotte ran away without taking Aarti" said Anjali smilingly. Arvind chuckled and nodded his head but quickly kept quiet seeing Ratna's angry glares.
Just then, Arnav came in a charcoal black suit and white shirt, looking incredibly attractive in that black suit, the only thing lacking was a smile, a rare sight for anyone.
Arnav sits on his chair without any expression "Good morning everyone" he said in a flat tone.
"Morning .. morning, Hello hi bye bye .. what's the matter Arnav bitwa you looks handsomeva todays" said Mami, Dadi rolled her eyes upon hearing her butchered English.
Dadi proudly declared, "He always looks handsome, just like his father," which had Mami's mouth contort into a childish grimace.
Arnav heard everything they said, but didn't care. He ignored everything and just asked, "Where's Mom?".
Dadi pointed towards the kitchen, from where Ratna was coming out, and said, "Here comes your Mom".
"Mom, give me my breakfast quickly, I'm getting late for the meeting" Arnav said, checking emails on his phone.
Ratna served breakfast without looking at him. Although Arnav was checking his email, he noticed everything. He put his phone aside and looked at Ratna, who seemed very upset.
Arnav sighed. "Mom, you know very well that I don't believe in God, so it doesn't matter if I take the aarti or not. Don't force me by being upset like this" Arnav said without any emotion.
Ratna Look at Arnav and felt a pang of sadness. his eyes were empty, betraying no emotion. she was well aware of his lack of faith in God but a part of her still clung to the hope that things might change.
"Time doesn't always stay the same, Chotte. you will see one day, a girl will come into your life who has unshakeable faith in God, and her faith will make you believe it too " Ratna said confidently, a hint of a prayer in her tone.
"Stop daydreaming, Mom. No girl is coming into my life," Arnav said in a flat tone.
Just then, Anjali chimed in, "Don't say that, Chotte. Who knows where your destiny might take you" she teased, a playful twinkle in her eyes.
Arnav gave his sister a sharp look. "Di, I write my own destiny. Anyway, when is Aman coming back from Mumbai?"
Anjali was startled by his sharp gaze but quickly composed herself. "He's coming today, he might even be at Delhi airport by now," Anjali said.
Arnav nodded his head while having his breakfast. Anjali huffed in relief as sometimes she got really scared by her brother's look.
Arvind finished his breakfast and looked at Arnav "Arnav am going to office, Are you coming with me?" Arvind asked, wearing his coat.
"No, I have a meeting at a restaurant. I'll come to the office later," Arnav said without looking at him.
Arvind didn't say anything and went out. Arnav quickly finished his breakfast, grabbed his phone and laptop bag, and walked straight out the door. He got in the driver's seat and drove the car onto Delhi's busy streets.
He was driving quickly when a few drops of rain hit the front window. At first, it was just a little, but then it started raining harder. Arnav's face got tight with anger, He hit his hand on the steering wheel angrily. He hated rain, absolutely loathed it.
"Damn it! Did this rain have to come now?" Arnav said with a bitter voice, His voice clearly showed hatred for the rain.
Soon, the rain got very heavy, and it was hard to see. It was too dangerous to drive. Arnav slowed down his car and looked around. He saw an empty spot right next to a temple. Without thinking, he parked his car there to wait for the rain to stop. The sound of the raindrops hitting the car was only making Arnav angrier. His jaw tight with frustration, He closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the headrest, trying his best to ignore the rain. He just wanted it to stop.
Suddenly, he heard a melodious laugh. Arnav's eyes snapped open on their own. He looked to the side, to where the sound came from, and what he saw made his eyes stay fixed.
A girl stood with her arms raised in the air, playing with the raindrops. Every time a drop touched her, she would let out a bright, joyful giggle. Arnav could only see her back Yet, a single, laughter of her was all it took to utterly capture his attention and as if by an unseen force, his hand instinctively moved, lowering the car window with a soft whir. A chilly gust of wind brushed against his face, but Arnav's gaze remained fixated, not on the surroundings, but on the girl. She stood there, her white Anarkali suit clinging to her drenched form, appearing precisely like a delicate rose, veiled by the morning fog.
Then, in a slow, graceful motion, the girl turned and her face came into his sight, he felt as if his very breath caught in his throat. 'Beautiful' only thought comes into his mind, he felt something in his heart which he didn't want to.
Rabba ve song blowing in the air
Unaware of all this, that girl is lost in her own world. This is Khushi Kumari Gupta. She often comes to this temple. Khushi had just finished her prayers when the rain began. Forgetting everything else, she stepped fully into the rain, letting herself get completely drenched. unlike Arnav, she absolutely loved it. She spread her arms wide, her face tilted up to the sky, feeling each cool droplet on her skin. A pure, uninhibited laugh bubbled up from her throat as she swayed gently, as if dancing with the rain itself. But suddenly Khushi froze, as She felt the burning intensity of a gaze upon her. For some reason, it felt like deep eyes were watching her, as if someone's deep gaze touched her. This feeling was very new for Khushi, she had never felt it before. It didn't feel wrong, but her fast heartbeat and quick breaths made her feel uneasy. She quickly closed her eyes to calm herself, but it was no use, Only one thought was in her mind 'to leave this place'. So, she quickly went to her scooty, started it, and left from there.
On another side, Arnav was still lost in that girl, his eyes couldn't move away from her for even a moment, as if he wanted to capture every one of her mannerisms in his eyes. He was so engrossed in her that he didn't even know when he got out of his car. Maybe that girl's smile was so mesmerizing that Arnav didn't even realize he was getting drenched in the rain, which he usually hated. But right now it doesn't matter as He found himself completely lost in her, forgetting the rain, forgetting where he was, forgetting everything except the sight of her. It was as if his whole world had shrunk down to just this one moment.
The bells of the temple started ringing, then only did Arnav come to his senses, he looked at himself, realizing he was drenched from the rain. The moment he realized this, his face turned cold right away. The small bit of softness in his eyes disappeared. Now, his eyes are hard, having no feelings. They looked like dark, cold pieces of ice, showing only anger. The man who was just mesmerized by beauty was gone, only a cold, empty look was left in his eyes.
He watched Khushi with his ice gaze as she was about to leave his sight. "Just Pray that you never cross my path again, Rain Girl. Or you won't be able to handle the consequences." He spoke in a low, dangerous tone. His jaw tightened, he clenched his hands into tight fists, as he tried to control the rage boiling inside him.
He angrily sat in his car and took a U turn toward his house. By now, the rain had subsided, but Arnav was full of anger. His grip tightened on the steering wheel, as he was driving quite fast. The breeze from his right-side window blew his silky, shiny hair onto his forehead, making him even more attractive. Yet, the anger and coldness in his eyes were just as dangerous. Soon, he reached the Raizada Mansion. After getting out of the car, he tossed the car keys to the guards and went inside the mansion.
